Hi. I’m Lauren. Person, partner, parent and priest.

This started as a blog two decades ago. Remember blogging? It’s where we used to post silly pictures and mundane updates before social media was a thing. It’s where I chronicled city life in Baltimore, missionary life in Benin West Africa, church life in Charlotte, married life in New York, and family life in Atlanta. Over the years it became less about life updates and more of a holding place for sermons preached along the way.
I started this blog with the tagline: At least I’ve got the laughing part down. Over the years, I’ve sometimes felt laughter take a backseat to strength and/or dignity. But I’m most fully alive when I embrace all three: strength, dignity, laughter!
